The challenge

A leading research centre that is embedded within a Melbourne hospital wanted to reduce their energy consumption and waste sent to landfill. An initial investigation suggested to them that small behaviour changes have the potential to create significant sustainability outcomes.

The team’s task was to work with research staff to understand existing behaviours and develop an innovative behaviour change proposal that would significantly improve energy consumption and waste sorting in the long term.
