The challenge
The Mobility and Accessibility for Children and Adults Inc (MACA) is a not-for-profit organisation that works with the disability sector is committed to achieving safe and accessible transport for all people. Currently, the needs of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) during car travel are not being met, often resulting in dangerous situations for both children and carers.
The team’s task was to propose one or more innovative approaches to make car transport for children with ASD safer for everyone involved.
